Oops I didn't read your advice. I want to get better at bodies so I'm drawing more, although I copped out on the legs today. Perhaps I should draw just specific parts. Also, I really hate this guys lips, they are impossible to draw right. Things I need to work on: not focusing entirely on the face and hands. I'm not really working on shading, I'm trying to learn how to copy shapes exactly, but I can still work on shading. I'm glad that it kind of looks like him at least.
Faces, bodies - all the same thing. If you want t concentrate on bodies then I have handouts for that. The biggest problem you have is that you are drawing lines. You have to learn to draw shapes with lines. It is your thinking that needs the overhaul - stop trying to draw the lips, instead draw the dark shape that is the top of the lip and the bottom dark shape under the lower lip and suddenly you will have his lips right there.
